Background of this site:
Around since 1996 as spencerjones.net, changed to thespencerjonesfamily.com in 2004 (when Shawn and I got married), and hosted on four different webpage hosts, this is the transition to the latest incarnation on Google Sites.
The ~ 2 gigs of content from Fatcow.com (their prices just kept creeping up) will slowly be transferred over, hopefully updating and simplifying some of the navigation and organization along the way. And, mind you, 2 gigs is a LOT, considering it is from so long ago, when a typical full-sized jpeg would be only 15-80 Kb and a 20 second video would be 1.8 MB! :-)
As a matter of fact, here are some stats for the site from 2009, when I began neglecting it due to favoring Facebook for posting the latest content about the fam:
